Allix and Foucher are into semi finals!
After two remaining Group A flights, everything was still to play for in the repechage. It was the storming HRM Racing Yacht Club Youth Team, led by Kuba Gołębiowski, who won five races in a row, and Australian Tom Picot who both made it into the quarter-finals. After dropping out in the repechage, Stańczyk became the first Polish Nationals medallist, finishing 3rd overall.
Both of our repechage heroes are still in the game — Gołębiowski vs. Hansen and Borch vs. Picot are both tied 2–2, to be decided tomorrow. Meanwhile, Allix defeated Eon 3–0, and Foucher also scored a 3–0 win against Zbroja.
Tomorrow morning, two decisive matches will be sailed at 10:00 AM, followed by the semi-finals – Allix awaits the winner of Borch/Picot, while Foucher will face either Gołębiowski or Hansen. Teams placed 5th–8th will also battle it out between themselves to determine final standings.
